I am trying to push for my goal of having a mechanics class of some sort at our relatively small school...

I recently created a survey asking questions to see what people know about mechanical things, specifically motorized vehicles. The survey wasn't a public survey it was a survey for people from my own school. The whole reason for this survey is to see if people would like to be generally, more mechanically inclined or to see if they would agree that the school I am currently going to should have a some sort of mechanics to prepare ourselves for the future! I have also created graphs to show some statistics about what i'm trying to accomplish. I will soon transfer some of this data I gathered to a powepoint presentation to show what I've done

What I thought would happen...

I personally thought that people wouldn't know that much about these things, but they do know a little more than I expected. Then again, they don't know that much about mechanical structures and devices, but they have potential to be able to know and work with a lot more things than they do now. There's still many other people, who have not yet taken this survey and don't know much about what I'm trying to do. I'm almost sure that if people really understand what I'm doing and where I'm going with this that they too will become more observant and will gain knowledge. I hope you you really get into this!!
